The Spring Fashion Pieces Under $100 We’re Loving

Whenever a new season comes around, I simply can’t help but want to refresh my wardrobe with a few new key pieces. This spring in particular, however, I’m even more excited than usual to refresh my wardrobe for the season, and am really loving all of the current spring fashion trends. Although I am trying to shop more intentionally this year and focus a little bit more on investment pieces that last a bit longer, I am still a budget shopper at heart.

I think that there is a very achievable balance between investment capsule pieces and trendier pieces, and it’s definitely possible to have the best of both worlds. And while some of these spring pieces might lean toward the trendier side, we’re lucky because one of the biggest trends in fashion right now is classic, wearable pieces that can be styled in lots of different ways.

Apart from a treat-yourself item here and there, I tend to stick to under-$100 pieces when refreshing my wardrobe each season, and I pride myself in scouring the internet for budget-friendly pieces that look more expensive than they are. Here are 21 items I’ve been eyeing for spring:

gap

Linen Pleated Wide Leg Pants

Trousers are the stand-out pants style of 2022 so far, and a linen pair is a perfect spring take on the trend. It can be hard to find an affordable pair, but this option from Gap looks much more high-end than their price.

Target

Floral Slip Dress

I love slip dresses because of how easy they are to wear—they can be dressed up with heels and a chic bag or dressed down with a pair of sneakers and a moto jacket. This one from Target comes in eight stunning colors and prints.

Abercombie & Fitch

Oversized Poplin Button-Up Shirt

Every time I open Pinterest or Instagram, I see an insanely cute outfit that involves an oversized striped button-up. It is the quintessential spring staple, and this Abercrombie option is an editor fave.

Target

Woven Slide Sandals

Woven slide sandals have been a warm weather necessity for a couple of seasons now, and this under-$30 Target pair looks much more expensive than they are.

GirlfriendCollective

Paloma Racerback Dress

Exercise dresses have been the “it” athleisure item of spring and summer for the past couple of years now, and they’re here to stay for 2022. When I saw Girlfriend Collective’s spring collection, I immediately wanted to buy everything—the pastel colors are delightful.

H&M

Tie Detail Blouse

I’ve been eyeing this gorgeous, ’70s-inspired floral print on H&M’s site ever since it was released. I can picture this feminine blouse as the perfect centerpiece of a spring office look or a super cute brunch outfit.

Abercrombie & Fitch

Curve Love High Rise Dad Shorts

I absolutely swear by Abercrombie’s Curve Love jeans, so a pair of the jean shorts was one of the first things on my wishlist for spring. The relaxed, ’90s-inspired style of these dad shorts is exactly what I’m looking for for this spring and summer.

Mango

Oversized Cotton Shirt

If something comes in green, I simply must have it. It’s my favorite color of 2022, and this super bright shade is a whole moment all on its own. All you have to do is throw it on with some jeans and white sneakers, and you have yourself a “that girl” look.

Amazon

’70s Flat Aviator Sunglasses

I’ve had these sunglasses on my Amazon Wishlist since last summer, and with warmer weather approaching, it felt like the perfect time to add to cart. These are inspired by some higher-end brands, and I am very impressed with the quality for the $15 price tag.

H&M

Graphic Sweatshirt

If something has the word tennis on it, I want it. I love the neutral color of this easy-to-wear sweatshirt with the fun pop of orange to make it a little bit more unique.

New Balance

Suede 997H Sneakers

In case you haven’t heard, New Balance is back with a vengeance, especially when it comes to their insanely cute colorways. Chunkier, dad-style sneakers have been in for a little while now, and I think these are a great, wearable option. They also come in a show-stopping pink colorway.

Old Navy

High-Waisted StretchTech Skort

I already own this skort in two other colors, and I will absolutely be adding this gorgeous ivory color to my collection. The sporty-chic trend is still going strong, and this $30 skort is a great way to achieve the look.

Chunky Hoop Earrings

I wear gold hoops with almost everything single outfit I put on, so I was looking for something fun to switch it up for spring. I want one of each of the colors of these adorable chunky resin hoops.

J.Crew

Relaxed Collared Sweater

Lightweight knits are the perfect transitional piece to rely on as the weather slowly starts to get warmer. I love the collar and wide-sleeve details on this one from J. Crew, and I truly can’t decide which of the three colors I like the most.

JW Pei

Gabbi Shoulder Bag

If there’s another color I’ve been drawn to more than any other when it comes to shopping for spring (other than green), it’s any eye-catching blue—but if that’s not for you, this bag comes in lots of gorgeous neutrals and more subtle tones as well. Our editors love JW PEI bags for their quality, vegan leather, and mid-range price point.

H&M

Oversized Plaid Shacket

Shackets have really been hanging on year after year, and spring is the perfect time to wear one. This H&M option is neutral enough to go with lots of outfits, but has the perfect touch of spring with the addition of pale blue.

Vionic Shoes

Brandie Woven Strap Sandal

These sandals combine all of my favorite spring trends: the color green, woven texture, and platforms. I love to wear this style sandal for days when I’m out and about walking a lot, because they are both comfortable and stylish. And the best part? They also come in cornflower blue.

Old Navy

Puff-Sleeve Floral Shift Dress

One thing that I treat myself to at the start of every spring is a pretty dress (usually floral) that I am excited to wear. Paired with sneakers and a lightweight jacket, this is the ultimate spring uniform.

H&M

Rib-Knit Cardigan

In the season of freezing cold in the morning and sweating by afternoon, a staple layering piece like a cardigan is your best friend. I’m in love with this pale blue shade, but this cardigan comes in a few neutrals as well.

Zara

Printed Button-Up Shirt

I fell in love with this ’70s-inspired paisley print the second I saw it. Since button-ups are having such a moment right now, this eye-catching one is great for diversifying your collection and ensuring that you’ll be the coolest girl in any room.
