Gabby Windey, 30, is one of Bachelor Clayton Echard’s final three contestants.
The former NFL cheerleader introduced Clayton to her family, but there’s plenty that viewers still don’t know about her.
So, who is she—and where is she now? Plus, do she and Clayton end up together? Here’s what to know:
Gabby Windey, 30, caught Bachelor Clayton Echard’s eye ever since they ran on the beach together, Baywatch-style. Now, with Clayton’s finale right around the corner, Gabby is one of his top three contestants, and there’s still a lot to learn about her.
While she couldn’t be at Clayton’s “Women Tell All” (because spoilers, obvi), Gabby has shared plenty of info about herself before—including her previous Bachelor Nation relationship.
Here’s everything to know about Gabby, including where she is today. And, get ready to dive into some serious finale spoilers, if that’s your deal:
Gabby works as an ICU Nurse.
Gabby was an NFL cheerleader for the Denver Broncos for five years. And she also works as an ICU nurse in Denver, Colorado. Last year, Gabby received the Pop Warned Humanitarian award for her commitment to helping others off the field.
She’s the first woman to ever receive the award, which is usually given to NFL players (go, girl!).
She knows exactly what she’s looking for in her future husband.
According to her ABC bio, “Gabby is looking for a man with quiet confidence. She doesn’t have a physical type but says that if he doesn’t have a personality, then it’s a hard pass.” (Yep, I can get on board with that.)
She’s also looking for a guy who’s ready to be her partner in everything: “Her ideal man will challenge her, communicate her feelings and work hard to equally carry the weight of the relationship,” her bio continues.
And he has to love dogs. “Whatever man captures Gabby’s heart must also have room in their life for her four-legged friend because she and her goldendoodle Leonardo are a package deal.” TBH, who wouldn’t love this pup?
Here’s hoping Clayton is a dog person!
Gabby also has some serious Bachelor Nation ties.
Long-time viewers are probably familiar with Dean Unglert. After competing on Rachel Lindsay’s Bachelorette season, Dean went on to star on both Bachelor In Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games. He met his current girlfriend, Caelynn Miller-Keys, on Beep—although it took the pair a while to actually start dating after the show ended, per Us Weekly.
Turns out, before all of that, Dean and Gabby dated way back in college. “You know, my ex-girlfriend is actually on the season of the next Bachelor,“Dean revealed on the Help I Suck At Dating podcast. “She was one of the main exes. She was my girlfriend from college.”
FWIW, Dean also said he thinks Gabby will either win The Bachelor or become the next Bachelorette (interesting).
Gabby is super close with her family.
After this season’s hometowns episode, viewers got to see Gabby’s adorable relationship with her family, including her grandfather. “My family may be an atypical one and we may look different from others, but I am so grateful for how perfectly to me we are stitched together and wouldn’t have it any other way,” Gabby explained on Instagram.
She’s incredibly close with her dad, his girlfriend, and his side of the fam:
So, where is Gabby now?
Warning: Major spoilers ahead! Stop reading here if you don’t want to know what happens on season 26 of The Bachelor!
Reality Steve (the king of Bach Nation spoilers, ICYMI) already has all the details on what happens to Gabby at the end of Clayton’s season. Sorry, Gabby fans—sadly, she and Clayton don’t end up together.
During the finale, “Susie is convinced to stay, and at the final rose ceremony, she rejects Clayton’s proposal, and Clayton left Iceland single,” Reality Steve revealed on his blog.
And, if you’re wondering whether Clayton and Gabby have gotten back together since filming ended, Steve says he has proof that’s not the case. For now, it looks like Gabby is living the single life back in Denver with Leonardo by her side.
As for Dean’s theory that Gabby could be the next Bachelorette? “Filming for ‘Bachelorette’ starts next weekend, so they gotta be making a decision soon if they haven’t already,” Steve wrote—so there’s definitely a chance!
